Making in Cambodia is a fabrication seminar exploring available contemporary fabrication technologies and the potential integration of these technologies with traditional and modern Cambodian craft. The title recalls the common clothing label: ‘Made In Cambodia’ and challenges existing notions associated with the phrase. Making in Cambodia aims to rethink the social and economic realities of creating and designing work in Cambodia. This was a Fall 2012 course in the Faculty of the Built Environment at Limkokwing University of Creative Technology in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. More photos here.
